  Not only are they short staffed but the employees can't hide their resentment of customers "bothering" them. I needed dewormer and a propane refill, both of which require an employee. One employee was busy talking to a vendor so after 10 minutes of waiting I asked if she could call someone. She finally acknowledged my existence. "I'm with someone, ask upfront". I went upfront to the lone cashier. After another 10 minutes waiting for someone with a key to open the meds cabinet I gave up. This wasn't just a bad day. Past experience has been similar. And don't try calling ahead to verify something is in stock. You'll , eventually, get a Yes. But when you get there after a half hour drive it's suddenly out of stock. I know labor is tight but this place has long been bad. Amazon is a few bucks higher but worth it. When this store closes it will be the owner's mismanagement and not some sweet mom-n-pop run out by the online behemoth.
